Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Many readers know that there is a dogma of December 8, 1854, promulgated by Pius IX. But why did the Catholics believe that Mary was conceived without original sin?

1. From Genesis 3.14: "I bring enmity between you and the woman, between your offspring and her offspring, it will crush your head and you will crush his heel" - God in Paradise announces the conception of a woman, enemy of Satan, Mother of the Church.
Here is the promise of victory over sin.
This announcement takes place after committing original sin. Mary is the opposite of Eve. Eve brought death to humanity, and Our Lady contributed to the salvation of the world because she carried the Son of God in her.

2. The words of Archangel Gabriel (Luke 1:28): "Be greeted, full grace, the Lord is with you".
Here Mary is (from the Greek language) called "Kecharitomene", it is the title of the Immaculate. This can be translated as:
- especially beloved
- most beautiful
Heaven itself shows us here the unique degree of grace and holiness of Mary.
It is full of grace from the moment of conception, already in the womb of St. Anne.

3. In the book of Revelation we read: "Then a great sign appeared in the sky - A woman clothed with the Sun and the Moon under her feet, and on her head a wreath of twelve stars." The light means holiness here. The moon underfoot is paganism that Mary crushes and conquers.

4. And finally, Song of Songs: "How beautiful are you my friend, and there is no flaw in You" (4,7).

5. In the scene of the visitation of St. Elizabeth calls the Mother of God blessed among women and expresses her amazement that the Mother of the Messiah is coming to visit her. In a word for Saint. Elizabeth was an honor. She felt unworthy of this meeting with the Mother of God and Jesus, who was already under the Heart of Mary.

6. Following this path, I think that: Mary had the Savior under her Heart, how could her Heart have a flaw? God chose Mary and from the beginning He dedicated His Son to the Immaculate Mother. In accordance with her destiny and great dignity, God saved her from original sin.

7.  In the Magnificat, Mary says that "all generations will bless her, for the Almighty has done great things for her." Indeed, God made her Mother - the Virgin.
He did great things for her, there is no other woman in the history of the world.
